Before I tell you my story, let me tell you about myself first.
I’m a software developer working with one of the largest software houses in my town. I’m an experienced developer with a college degree and years of experience in Object-Oriented programming languages with a specialization in Java lately. I also possess an advanced level of experience with JSON and JDBC.
And here is my story:
A few months ago our organization got a project relating to MuleSoft platform. It was a project from a foreign client. At that time we didn’t have a single MuleSoft professional in our company. The management principally decided to outsource the project to some freelancers working with our software house on various projects and have worked with MuleSoft platform as well.
I was assigned the task of establishing liaison with the client. We started emailing, chatting, and video-conferencing to chalk out the blueprint of the project. After a few sessions, I discovered that I’m able to understand him almost all of the time. By then I concluded that the MuleSoft platform isn’t something that is new for me. It was more of an easier technology with the effective usage and integration of existing technologies and platforms.
Our client required Mulesoft Certified Developer to work on the project from our side. That was the time when I took a decision that I will try my luck with MuleSoft. I started searching over the internet to find out about MuleSoft Certified Developer Certification. I went through the exam content and objectives from the MuleSoft website and found those interesting.
Being a Java Certified Professional, I already had the experience of taking the certification exam, so I was confident that I will manage it without much difficulty.
The only difference was that I had a long experience and enough theoretical knowledge of the Java platform before going for the exam. That was the only point of concern for me. Being an experienced developer with hands-on experience with different programming platforms, I was not afraid of MuleSoft but my only concern was to get hold of the right training resources.
One day in our casual conversation, our client started sharing his experience of certifications for their employees. He told me about some of his employees being MuleSoft Certified Developers. During the discussion, he mentioned Marks4Sure to be a great source of training material for his staff helping them to pass the MuleSoft certification exams.
As it was the end of the financial year for them so they were very busy and they asked us to start working on the projects after one and a half months as they want themselves to be involved in the initial development. That was the time I was looking for. I discussed it with my boss and he gave me a go ahead for the exam. I then checked Marks4Sure for myself. I found it to be a great source of training material required for the MuleSoft exam MCD-Level-1.
I downloaded the Demo PDF from the Marks4Sure.com website and found out the dumps to be great. I compared the Marks4Sure material with the exam outline given by MuleSoft and it was exactly according to the instructions given there. As a cherry on top Marks4Sure offers a money-back guarantee for the training material they provide.
It was definitely something to go for. I purchased the complete training material from Marks4Sure which included PDF + Testing Engine. Although my training was sponsored by my company, still I found Marks4Sure to be affordable for almost every candidate. It was a fraction of what other training providers charging for their training for the MCD-Level-1 exam.
After getting hold of the training material, I started preparing for the exam. I took some video tutorials as well during my preparation. With a minimum allocation of time every day I was able to take the exam by the fourth week. I took a few leaves from the office for the final revision.
Luckily I got the test date in the same week. I took the test and it was up to my expectations. I scored 92% and cleared the MuleSoft exam MCD-Level-1 to earn the MuleSoft Certified Developer – MCD – Level 1 (Mule 4) certification. . I feel immensely proud to tell you that we did all the project in-house without outsourcing any portion of it. My boss is very happy with me and awarded me a bonus for the project as well as a 10% increase in my takehome. I would suggest the developers to go for this certification as it is a great way to begin a career in MuleSoft.
Following are some details of the exam for those who want to get the MuleSoft Certified Developer – MCD Certification.
