How Are Posts In The Search & Explore Chosen On Instagram?
The search & explore page on Instagram is a page where content “recommended for you” is displayed. But how does Instagram decide what is “recommended for me”?
The posts that are displayed on the Search & Explore page are automatically selected based on photos you like and people you follow. On top of that, sometimes, you might see different video channels on the search & explore page and this is videos that are fully decided by Instagram. Here, Instagram shows you things that they believe you enjoy even thought it isn’t necessary “within your niche” sometimes.
